M06 - snow! day to myself playing with paper

T07 - so fucking cold and prepping for colder

W08 - long work day, slight depressies

t09 - pleasant dreams and psychedelia, still too cold tho

F10 - much snow! still working through the paper stash, edgerunners 1x06

S11 - finally made it to the end of the week, paper experimentation

s12 - my damn back hurts, edgerunners 1x07, new coloring book!

M13 - breaking down old books, edgerunners 1x08, backpack upgrade

T14 - back to work again, mistborn on audiobook, edgerunners 1x09 and 1x10

W15 - chill day, new book scraps for the collection

t16 - halfway through mistborn, TNG 3x06, feeling quite boring

F17 - dinner with friend!!

S18 - work used every single braincell, TNG 3x07, finished mistborn

s19 - TNG 3x08 (ugh), started well of ascension, stocking up for the cold again

M20 - canceled plans because my brain is mean to me, TNG 3x09+10, more audiobook

T21 - TNG 3x11, halfway through well of ascension, temps in the single digits

W22 - absolutely FRIGID, easy shift, tacos, warm blankies

t23 - uneventful work day, much audiobook time, TNG 3x12

F24 - lunch with sissy, TNG 3x13 (good stuff), going through old pictures

S25 - slept in, chores, art all afternoon, TNG 3x14

s26 - lovely lazy rainy day, TNG 3x15 (fabulous!), started hero of ages, working on blackmoor manor again

M27 - much audiobook, a finished pastel, and no responsibilities

T28 - work pissed me off, about halfway through hero of ages, the psychosphere is troubled

W29 - idk what is even going on anymore, working on sitely things, TNG 3x16 (!!!)

t30 - gross little day :c tomorrow will be better

F31 - kind words from friends, TNG 3x17, savoring the back half of hero of ages

february

S01 - very long but productive day, TNG 3x18, made it through the week, gorgeous moon

s02 - chores and lots of writing, TNG 3x19

M03 - panic at the general state of the world, finished hero of ages (!), made good food

T04 - met a little soot sprite puppy, started alloy of law, lunch with sissy

W05 - TNG 3x20+21 (oh barclay...), another weird day in the psychosphere

t06 - much better day, started playing Skyrim again!

F07 - save me from the work drama, more Skyrim tho, not many creative thoughts and that's okay

S08 - work drama 2 electric boogaloo, TNG 3x22, much Skyrim stealth archery

s09 - a restorative lazy day sniping and pickpocketing across Tamriel

M10 - Skyrim and long talk with auntie <3

T11 - long lovely soaking rain, happy workplace, still Skyrimmin'

W12 - second day of rain, i will pull myself out of the Skyrim hole eventually but not today

t13 - it's cold again, scary dreams, general meh

F14 - Valentine's Day shift went better than expected, otherwise uneventful

S15 - i will eventually return to personhood but not today, friends - not today (TNG 3x23)

s16 - it's cold again, got the chores done, became an agent of Nocturnal

M17 - call with auntie, hit the inevitable reset point in Skyrim and started a new save, why is the weekend already over?

T18 - chill work day, good news for the future, decent day all told

W19 - politically terrified, sissy is sick, but bought Oblivion for $5 at least

t20 - snowflakes, polite dogs, anxiety on the brain

F21 - a lovely night out on a very good makeup day

S22 - night out pt 2, slightly less successful, but TNG 3x25 so that was nice

s23 - started playing Oblivion!

M24 - gross brain day but husband stayed home with me, TNG 3x26 and recuperating

T25 - brain still gross, but did some writing and cooked dinner and that's a win

W26 - afternoon in the sun with sissy, already gearing up for the weekend

t27 - glorious weather and small brain time, nothing exciting

F28 - incomparably lovely day, drinks with sissy and passing friends, gorgeous sunset, TNG 4x01

march

S01 - balls to the wall shift and general brain funk

s02 - chores and chat with auntie, watching youtube documentaries again

M03 - migraine from impending weather, couch time and few thoughts

T04 - tornado weather and a soggy shift

W05 - chore day, friend visit, back to the papercraft once more

t06 - feeling hopeful, feeling useful at work, feeling loved, good times all round

F07 - TNG 4x02, booktube on the tv, occlupanid identification

S08 - big mental crash, do not pass go, do not collect endorphins

s09 - recovery, paper flower assembly line, uselessness

M10 - big depressies heading into a really long week

T11 - a bit better day, more flowers, picking up alloy of law again

W12 - the sun is out and there are flowers, halfway through alloy of law, hell weekend impending

t13 - bumped into bestest friend, made plans for after the weekend, a little baking and relaxing

F14 - finished alloy of law, got through 12-hour shift number one by observing a very cool slime mold

S15 - work cancelled for tornado weather, rejoice! started shadows of self and did sitely things

s16 - doing our little human chores with the husband, quite lovely as always

M17 - fairy picnic with bestest friend, dipping blueberries in melted chocolate and yapping in the sunshine

T18 - sunshine after a quick shift, good food, considering some art

W19 - youtube, small brain, troubled psychosphere

t20 - unusually nasty dreams leading into a bad headspace, but we do our best

F21 - the single loudest shift i have ever fuckin worked

S22 - finally got to the end of the week, wisteria and redbuds blooming

s23 - work bar crawl ended in shambles but i had a great time

M24 - chill day, long talk with auntie, cooking dinner

T25 - killed by pollen, debriefing about the bar crawl and making sure it never happens again

W26 - allergies continue, finished shadows of self, working through the paper stash

t27 - haircut, quick walkies with sissy, can't believe we're already almost out of March

F28 - mockingbird serenade on the way to work, allergies continue, needing a break but i'll make it

S29 - fabulously silly final shift of the week, tasty dinner with friend, tiny violin shenanigans

s30 - little chores, thunderstorm, watching Rimworld streams on youtube because why not

M31 - farewell march! looooong video call with auntie, lovely times, good food, lazy day :)

april

T1 - long walk with flower hunting, actually voted in a primary, successful foolery

W2 - almost lost my mind over a 2oz container of white bbq sauce, getting sucked into a Rimworld playthrough

t3 - dragging through another work week, picked up rimworld again (alas), sissy got good news yay!

F4 - such a long week, but i got to work with my friends today and turned my brain off as soon as i got home

S5 - hell of a shift, stayed up late playing rimworld

s6 - good ass burger, little human chores, anxiety again yay

M7 - oof ouch owie my mental health, my brain is mean to me

T8 - better(?) day, but nothing else to report

W9 - work continues to stress me tf out but there was good worldbuilding conversation with friend so that's nice

t10 - a more peaceful day of prep work and youtube, higher brainpower still out of commission

F11 - bumped into sissy, started filling a new bag of paper stars, brain slightly defrosting

S12 - holy shit i made it - also 4am giggle fit because the sleeping husband bequeathed unto me a balled up sock

s13 - corvid sighting at the panda express, restorative parallel play

M14 - feeling like such a downer lately but trying to be kind to myself, a very peaceful quiet day of no demands to recuperate

T15 - another weird day in the psychosphere, a busy shift, continuing to run on autopilot

W16 - dude i don't even know anymore

t17 - started reading Gideon the Ninth at the suggestion of work friend - very into it

F18 - the mike's mic LOST season three recap dropped and truly saved my mental health

S19 - halfway through Gideon, survived the arts festival rush, successfully cooked dinner

s20 - alas, a void of a day - blaming it on hormones and weather

M21 - jd vance killed the pope, insanely good career news, and the sequels to Gideon came in from the library so i can finish that now

T22 - career things are happening, started Harrow the Ninth and may well finish it today, relocating baby slugs to safer environs

W23 - did in fact finish Harrow last night, on to Nona the Ninth, freak little thunderstorm and anxiety over impending changes

t24 - finished Nona, emotionally reeling and now waiting impatiently for Alecto, rest of the workweek should be easy

F25 - read The Library at Mount Char finally, lovely shift with friend, morning slug relocation from the trash cans also blessed me with two snails

S26 - sitely tweaks, reading about prehistoric textiles, considering a Locked Tomb reread with notes...

s27 - chores, cooking, website stuff, i have a sleep mask now and that's kind of nice

M28 - omg career plans now up in the air again, i'm so stressed, but i'll be okay

T29 - floating back down towards normal, started Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

W30 - more reading (finished Shadow and Bone), discussing Harrow with the husband, building up a lovely stack of library books

t1 - dinner date with friend, allergy attack from hell, started Siege and Storm

F2 - long shift and a longer one tomorrow, messed up dinner and feel gooby about it

S3 - dachshund derby brought the crowds out, relaxed with cutouts and youtube after

s4 - another sunday, another chore day, another corvid sighting at the panda express - this one was being divebombed by a very angry mockingbird

M5 - migraine and mental goop, but still got some sitely things done, including the start to the museum overhaul

T6 - even when my brain's not working i can still make a bomb-ass spaghetti and that sustains me

W7 - snail babies (snabies), some reading time at the library, doing a lot of slitherlinks lately

t8 - rainy day walkies, bug hunting, bugs hunting me (mosquitoes), still working on Siege and Storm though not exactly with a vengeance

F9 - work was a drag, turned the brain off once i got home, set a vague goal of getting my slitherlink time under 13mins

S10 - satisfyingly busy shift to end the week, lots of reading time - finished the Grisha trilogy in one swoop

s11 - working away at some big changes behind the scenes and very pleased with how they're coming out

M12 - lovely long talk with auntie, more books in from the library, sub 13-min slitherlink, good ass dinner

T13 - admiring mushrooms and insects, started Oryx and Crake, excellent youtube content lately

W14 - even more mushrooms to admire, my 888th observation on iNat, had to shake off some nasty dreams but so it goes

t15 - second ever tortoise beetle sighting!! also dinner with friend, reading more Oryx and Crake (it's way heavier than i expected)

F16 - long shift and a cheeky drink after, working on Oryx and Crake

S17 - the most absurdly tiny snails, finally finished Oryx (a trip), time for brain recuperation

s18 - started LHoD, husband witnessed a throne being toted in the back of a pickup

M19 - tipsy yap sesh with sissy, more reading, hoping i sleep off this migraine before work tomorrow

T20 - met a tragic goddess on my walk, taking my book with me everywhere

W21 - had my heart gloriously ripped up by Left Hand of Darkness, big processing and a small cry, life proceeds and psychedelics are wonderful

t22 - auntie's birthday! lovely chat with her and walk up to campus to work on sitely things for a little while, reading a bit of A Darker Shade of Magic

F23 - lovely easy shift, 900th observation, stayed a while at the bar with the work friends and their wonderful company, made plans for next weekend

S24 - prepping for pool party on Monday, shopping, lots of coding (the behind-the-scenes overhaul is almost complete)

s25 - lazy lazy day, starting a close read of Left Hand of Darkness because i'm still obsessed, stormy evening vibes, pushed the site revamp live yay!

M26 - absolutely fabulous pool party with the work folks (even though it led to migraine-induced upchucking for several hours afterward)

T27 - slowly and crunchily recuperating from yesterday, but i was very brave and dainty about it

W28 - meet a bunbun on my way home, got paid to read for several hours (A Snake Falls to Earth by Darcie Little Badger)

t29 - very special birds' nest fungi sighting, another afternoon of paid reading, finished A Snake Falls to Earth during a little rainstorm

F30 - sissy goes off on an adventure today, finally settling into A Darker Shade of Magic after a false start

S31 - so sleepy, but sixth and seventh books of the month down (loved them both) - ready to relax a while and excited for the month to roll over

june

s1 - much needed sleep-in, then lots of work on the grimoire - enough to consider it done for now!

M2 - auntie day (i love making her laugh), sissy has a dog now(!?!?), still working on my close read of LHoD but got a fresh stack of books in from the library - started A Gathering of Shadows

T3 - how wonderful to be loved <3 voted, bit of reading, more updates from adventure sissy

W4 - fantastic shift blasting disco with the work bestie, plus some drinks after; saw some stinkbugs hatching

t5 - goofy-ass shift with the boys, more reading (might finish A Gathering of Shadows tonight), concert tomorrow if the rain is kind
